FAQ

General

We deliver all over the world. The rate depends on the product and the country concerned.

This depends on whether the product is in stock. The product states exactly what this is at the time of ordering. From the day of delivery, the delivery time within the Benelux is 1-2 working days and the rest of Europe is approximately 3-10 working days (depending on the country).

SUPER73

Yes. All offered SUPER73 are certified as an electric bicycle and can be ridden without a driver's license, registration number and insurance. In addition, no minimum age is required, but our advice is 16 years and older.

Yes this is possible, look at Menu / SUPER73 / Custom. Do you have something else in mind? Please contact us so that we can look at the possibilities together.

On European models, press the arrow “^” for one second until the lights are on.

You can cycle with as many people as it suits you. However, we do not recommend using more than one person at a time on our SUPER73to drive. Weight distribution can be thrown off with two riders and the SUPER73 should not be preformed as advertised. The maximum load capacity is 125 kg.

No. All bicycles are sold complete. Look for Parts at Menu / SUPER73 / Parts that are available.

Do not force the screw into the hole. Simply thread the screw through the mounting plate and tighten gently.

See here the assembly video or view the PDF here.

We can do this for you for €100,00. Some components of the SUPER73 can be tricky and will not work properly if not professionally fitted.

In some cases, yes. Please contact us for the conditions.

We do not recommend anyone under 16 ride our SUPER73-bicycles. Check your local DMV for e-bike regulations and age limits.

Not at the moment, but plan to do so in the future. It is also possible to finance the bike through an ebike financier.

Our bicycles come with a two-year warranty from the first delivery date.

These are not originally supplied by SUPER73. We do offer alternative footrests that are easy to mount on all SUPER73 models.

Lithium-ion shipping is tricky. You cannot take the batteries on an airplane. We do not recommend that you try the SUPER73 even through a freight forwarder, as it requires many certifications and shipping licenses.

The battery can be fully charged in 3-6 hours depending on the battery or charger. It is no problem to leave the battery plugged in for longer than the required charging time. Your charger has an automatic shut-off and the battery will stop accepting a charge once charging is complete.

The range of an electric bicycle depends on a few variables such as rider weight, terrain surface and slope or wind. See the relevant models for an estimate of the range.

SEGWAY-NINEBOT

Within the Netherlands there is no official rule and legislation yet. We are currently working hard on this. You may drive on your own property at your own risk. For the rest of Europe, there are already rules and legislation, which means that it is often legal to drive an electric scooter. Please refer to local laws for this.

In general, the speed limit is 25 kilometers per hour. Local legislation should be consulted for the exact regulations.

Position yourself properly while standing on the scooter and accelerate with the accelerator pedal to the desired speed. It is not possible to accelerate from a standstill, this is only possible when the scooter is in motion.

The electric steps are equipped with solid tires so you don't have to worry about a flat tire.

Solid tires have been chosen so that the life of the electric scooter is longer. Pneumatic tires can get punctured, preventing you from continuing your journey.

Front wheel diameter: 8 inch

Rear wheel diameter: 7,5 inch

New. Doing so will void the warranty and it is very dangerous.

If they don't bounce back, check for resistance anywhere between the handle and the pedal. There should be half a centimeter between them, so pull the handle out a little if this is not the case. Another possibility is that the screw of the tablet is too tight, adjust this.

Check whether all screws are securely attached to the frame and tighten them even more with some Loctite on the screws. Then let it dry for about 20 minutes.

Switch on the scooter, push the device in a forward motion and lift the front wheel off the ground. Then press the electric throttle, the wheel now turns, press the electric brake and check whether the wheel can be braked.

First check if the charger has problems. Connect the charger to the power supply without connecting to the device. Check that the LED is not lit or red (green means good). If the light is red or not lit, the problem is with the charger. If the charger works properly but still cannot charge, the battery may be too low. In that case, please contact us or directly Segway.

Detach the handlebars from the frame and check whether the connection between the two cables is correct. If this is the case and the display still does not work, please contact us or directly Segway.

This can have several causes. If you are sure that everything is turned on and charged as it should and the scooter still does not respond to pressing the accelerator, we advise you to contact us or directly. Segway.

This is a problem in the control board, it must be replaced. Contact us or directly with Segway.

Make sure the LED lighting in the app is on. If one of the strips does not light up, check whether the connection is stable or move the broken strip to the working side. If it still doesn't work, it means the LED strip is defective. If two LED strips are both not lit, check the connection first. If the connection is OK, it could be due to the spring cable. LED strip is broken and needs to be replaced.

After 500 charges, the battery capacity may have a reduction. Driving on rough roads, driver weight and temperature can also lead to a reduction in range.

There are three different modes: Eco, Normal and Sport. Sport mode: red “S” and gives high power/speed but less range. Normal mode: white “S” and indicates medium power/speed and medium range. Eco mode: no “S” and gives low power/speed but high range and is also recommended for novice riders.

This can be done by double clicking the on/off button until the desired mode appears in the display.

Open the folding switch. Put your foot on the mat, push the steering wheel forward and click the switch. The scooter can then be folded.

To open the scooter again, you have to push the rear mudguard in, after which the handle can go up again.

While pressing the electric brake and electric accelerator pedal down, press the bottom of the engine at the same time and turn the unit off. The scooter will be reset and the password will be reset.

De Ninebotapplication is available for Android (Android 4.3 or later) and Apple smartphones (iOS 8.0 or later). Compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch): Ninebotapp can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store or the Appstore

BIRÒ

Birò was conceived by Matteo Maestri and designed to contribute to a sustainable and liveable city. It is an Italian product and is produced by the company Estrima.

Birò must be parked in the Netherlands in places where a car may be parked. A Birò may not be parked on the sidewalk or in a disabled parking space. For regulations abroad, reference is made to the local laws.

You have to drive your Birò on the roadway. Driving your Birò on cycle paths, highways, highways and roads closed to slow traffic is not allowed. For regulations abroad, reference is made to the local laws.

Contact us for a personal quote.

We supply various models from stock. Contact us for more information about the exact delivery time of your desired model.

The maximum speed of a Birò is 45 kilometers per hour. This can be increased to 60 kilometers per hour by means of a Bolt Set. Please take other regulations into account.

As a driver you must be at least 16 years old and in possession of a valid scooter driver's license. The insurer may set additional conditions.

Wearing a seat belt in your Birò is mandatory, if present.

Unfortunately it is not possible to retrofit a Birò Bolt, Big or Box Set. You choose this option when you buy your Birò.

It is not possible to change the battery pack afterwards. You should make this choice when purchasing your Birò.

Birò comes standard in the colors black, white or green. Optionally, you can choose from 99 other colors. In addition, it is possible to have various parts sprayed or wrapped in color.

The Birò can be completely personalized to your liking. The possibilities are endless. For an overview of the options, you can look at Menu / Birò / Custom. Is your wish not listed? Feel free to contact us.

The charging time of a Birò depends on the type of battery. The charging time of a removable battery is 2 to 4 hours. Charging a fixed battery takes 3 to 6 hours.

It is possible to charge your Birò via the normal socket or at a charging station on the street. This requires a special plug which we can supply as an option.

Our latest Birò models are equipped with a Lithium battery and have a lifespan of approximately 1.800 cycles. For a maximum lifespan, we recommend charging the battery at least once a week for 1 hours.

When charging your battery, make sure that it is NEVER connected to the charger for more than 72 hours. The Birò should also NEVER be loaded while it is still active.

When you go on holiday or when you do not use your Birò for a longer period of time, we advise you to disconnect the 12V battery at the front of your Birò (located under the hood). This prevents the battery from draining. This only applies if the Birò can be used with a Birò Card.

There are a number of points that you can check immediately: 1) Is my Birò still on the charger? 2) When I start charging the Birò, does the battery charger indicate BAT in the display or do you see all numbers? 3) Does the display of my Birò light up when activating with card system or turning the key? 4) When there is a (VCU ERROR) in the display, we ask you to take a picture. You can send the above information to us via email. We will then contact you as soon as possible.
